The Plough Inn

The Plough Inn is a rural pub located in the picturesque village of Mitford, about 3 miles west of Morpeth.  It supports local breweries and boasts a fantastic range of real ales and also serves a range of home-cooked mouth-watering pub food as well as hearty Sunday lunches.

Tuesdays are busker nights and Fridays are “Fishy Fridays” where locally sourced cod, wholetail scampi and smoked haddock and leek wellington all feature on the menu.   Private parties or functions can be catered for, local bands play once per month, live sporting events can be watched on the big screen and special menus are available on Mother’s Day, Father’s Day etc.    The pub is dog friendly and pooch treats are provided free of charge.  Wi-Fi and parking are also free.
