Carillion and NCC have numerous work activities lined up on St Leonards Lane over the next few weeks, including drainage survey work and drainage works on Spital Hill and also link road surfacing tie in and surfacing repair works on the lane between the new link road and the Pigdon Road.
So – off peak closures will recommence from Monday 27th February between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00.

Please see this update from the Police – There have been various issues in the Morpeth area recently regarding diesel thefts from various machines left unattended at farms and building sites. A quad bike was stolen from Stannington overnight 10/01/17 and a trailer type horsebox from Longwitton 11/01/17 – however this was recovered from Cramlington later that day. There have also been break-ins to sheds and unlocked motor vehicles reported. Please make sure your property is locked and secured at all times. If you have large machinery please do not leave it with a full diesel tank overnight if possible.
