The Mitford Parish Council meeting, originally scheduled for Wednesday, 4th December 2024 has been cancelled and will now take place at 7.30pm on Wednesday, 11th December 2024 in Mitford Village Hall.

“Due to retirement, a vacancy for a clerk/R.F.O. will arise within Mitford Parish Council at the commencement of the next financial year, April 2025.
The council, which covers the villages of Mitford, Tranwell and Tranwell woods, near Morpeth, is a team of seven enthusiastic, very active and forward looking members and meets monthly, 10 times per year at 7.30pm on every first Wednesday in Mitford village hall.
Duties amount to approximately 20hrs per month, with the vast majority being conducted from home. Rates of pay are in accordance with current guidelines and negotiable, depending upon experience.
